Most people want cosmetic carbon so a layer of carbon and the rest glass is fine. Glass costs like £4 a square meter. carbon costs £25 a square meter......
Same with resins. Top quality epoxies are about £15 per kg. cheap polyester laminating resin is like £3 a kilo.
The labour costs are the same whichever material you use.
As a smallish business these days, youd struggle to run it full time selling just high end full carbon epoxy/pre-preg parts. You need something cheaper as a daily product.
