  • Is this original wiring

    Pulled my centre console out today to see what wiring etc I had and what had been done to it, this is what I found, are these original plugs because I don't think they are,

      I didn't think so, my car was an Auotmotive Unlimited car so when it was rebuilt I think they redone all the loom plugs etc as even my engine loom is all one piece now.

          Sorry, but that just looks like a complete mess!! There's better and neater ways of doing it instead of blue connectors.

            Looks like alarm wiring has been in there at some point. Maybe a full closure system.

              That's a bit extreme scouse, it's only one plug for the speakers with blue connectors, I do agree it needs addressing on that plug so im going to do staggered soldered and heat shrunk joints to get rid of the tat

                      Sorry for being so blunt, but lets be honest the Escos is prone to bad electrics without adding to them!
                      Soldering and heat shrink is defo the way to go………enjoy!!! lol

                        I agree with you there mate, I think these connectors done the job neatly until mechanic number 2 come along and cut into them to fit a different head unit instead of doing it property, ill have it out tomorrow and do it cause I'm all upset over it now ha ha
