Have a K&N RE-0870 cone filter on mine and it fits like a dream as its not as big as usual cone filter but rated to 900 bop so think it will be ok

Short one Escos.

Do these air filters just sit in the engine bay?

i thought the idea if an air filter was to allow more cold air in, so would the cone filter not be better placed in an air box with direct cold air feed in?

just asking as setting mine up at the moment and the air filter is next purchase!
