S1 RS Turbo

Evening all

Having a look at series 1 turbo Tuesday, its been sitting in a garage for 8 years don't know the full spec and what condition it's in but the guys pretty adamant it's not a rust bucket...

It's got a 2.1 bottom end, bolt in cage, uprated front breaks, uprated suspension and full polly bush kit...

The front seats are missing as it has bucket seats but other than that its all there

I did ask if the dash had any cracks in and he said defiantly not as I know they crack...

He also said if anything needed doing it would be the pas side front wing has a bit if rust so could do with replacing

So on that above duscription as vauge as it is what sort if money is it worth, what would be to much and what would it be a steal for, just so I have a ball park idea when I go to look at it?

£1500 steal £4000 to much.

Prob 2k IMO but with an MOT probably 4k but I'd want to pay circa 2k and I've had 7 s1's

I would of thought abit more then 2k, prob around £2.5 to maybe even £3.5 possibly, especially with some of the crap ones that have been selling on ebay recently for £2.5 onwards

Thanks for the replays will let you know how I get on will aim to pay £2 to £2.5k

Dash,inner wings rot under the bodykit.

rear chassis rails and door posts can be a pain in the arse then the usual, battery tray, inner wings, fuse box area, floor pans, lower rear quarters etc...

Not sure if the S1 has the same as the s2 but if so, behind the sunroof
