Grass

Its that time of year that I've gotta start looking at sorting my lawn out as I can see its started growing already

Anyway the grass is moss city anyone got any tips on killing the moss and greening up the lawn?

I usually chuck a load of Evergreen down but doesn't get rid of it all, are there techniques? I seem to remember someing about stamping holes in the lawn and 'over seeding'

get a big dog then you wont be bothered about the grass as it will just be mud

my grass is the same, i use a grass rake and try to rake some of the moss out of the grass every time i mow the lawn. i then make holes in the worst bits with a fork and i put down moss killer as well.

chemicals mate would be your best shout, reseed the fucker.... only way you are going to get shot of it totaly is to rip the lot up and lay fresh turf/seed

there's some stuff you can get called "weed and seed", we've used that on ours and over the last three years it's got loads more healthy, most of the moss and weeds have gone. One more treatment this spring and i reckon it'll be nearly just grass.

yep .. weed n feed or evergreen Paul... just takes a few goes at it... should sort it... do it every 3 months or so...

I got one of then wheeled spreaders so goes down evenly...

but i dont care as im no gardener
