stolen oil

cam home tonight from work for the wife to say somethings up with our heating, its not working, so i think it cant be out of oil must be somthing up with boiler, we had 500lts delivered 5 weeks ago. ( this amount of oil last 12 to 14 weeks as oil only on few hrs per day ) checked boiler all looks ok so go and check the oil tank to find my lids of the tank.
fuckin tank was empty .

some fucking scum bastard stole my oil when me and wife were at work.

Sorry to hear Steven but this is quite common, my parents had theres done a while back so my old man beefed up the lock for the tanks top hatch, most people dont even have a lock on the top.

do you live in an isolated area? you can get alarms for the tanks nowadays as well as other security devices,bit late now though

where we live its been same neighbours past 6 years , but people behind use moved to do with work , and now have moved tennants in to rent there house , bit strange i think that i loss my oil soon after.

where i was brought up you dont steel , and you dont shite on your own door step.
if we find out for sure its them that stolen it, they will not be liveing here to long thats for sure .
i have no problem getting them put out by what ever means that takes .

we live in a nice area , never any trouble at all, our oil tank sits at rear of garage and cant be seen from any windows at back of house, mine and 2 other of my neighbours gardens run into each other , and the oil tanks all sit a stone through away from each other, it would be very easy to pop a pipe in and pump away.
me and my wife leave and go to work around same time each day .

plumber is comeing tomoro morning to move tank, and i am getting a cage made to go over and around tank with a foot extra right around it, so no one can drill a hole in tank.
going to put 6 foot heigh fence up and close rear in .

hi robert, lucky i have a electric shower in one of our bathrooms, and we have a gass fire in a living room so wasnt to bad mate

Could just be a coinsadence that Steven and would probably be hard to prove anyway, its a real shitter but like i said beef up the security on the tank, it could have been a lot worse, least you no now nothing is safe

i hate to think someone been shooping around my backyard when am at work, am going to put up a few camera"s robert i think , i am sorting oil tank tomoro evening into a new part of yard , and sorting a cage for it bit like a dog pen idea .

I think so Steven, i only pay £40 per month for gas (3 bed detached 3yrs old with integral garage) and £30 lechy
