You will defo need to do the brakes if you're going to track it, but if is just going to be a road car, then Pagid RS29s, braided hoses and decent fluid is all it needs.

They are a big heavy car though (1500kg plus - which makes you realise just how good the CSL is, as even stripped out in the above manner (and despite a carbon roof and many other lightweight / carbon CSL panels), it is still heavier than a CSL with it's full interior, so there is more to the CSL shell than meets the eye at first glance).
If you think supercharging is the way, you only have to see what HPF do with the S54 engine to realise that supercharging is for girls . Do a search for Horse Power Freaks on You Tube .

I looked at a few of these , had my eye on a CS at one point too . Imo tho the cheap ones are cheap for a reason

I just found nothing I liked for under 10k really .... So I did the sensible thing and got a 2wd saff for half the price
nah ive looked for a while, this is a 10k car at half the price, ive got a door off ebay the same colour for £10.50, a wing and a side skirt and gaz to repair the sill and im away
if i turn it into a proper track car il get a few qiud back for the parts i remove
