Really terrible and so tragic. I feel for his family and I too who spent many a year in the drivers seat of a GP A rally car with my brother sitting next to me , I feel so sad inside at any news of motorsport accidents let alone a fatality..

Ironically I was speaking to a chap last week about historic rallying. He had a really bad off in an MG BGT rally car . He wont be rallying again. No matter how safe we try to make these old vehicles, there much more of a liability than modern chassis' on a modern race/rally car. I wonder how long it will take for the governing body to tighten up the safety criteria of historic rally cars . Is there any more that can be done.

                          RIP.
