Airbag wire to steering wheel ring

Hi

I need to remove my steering column so I can get the pedal box out to fit my hydraulic clutch. I've disconnected all the wiring from the column except for the yellow airbag cable which connects to the ring just behind the steering wheel. Can anyone tell me how to get that connector apart as it doesn't seem to want to budge. There's what looks like a release tang at the bottom but it doesn't seem to move at all.

this pic of my spare should help you dave,it doesnt unplug from the clockspring as its fixed,just unplug at the connector on the end

As Nick said, I did one of these on my cab a while back and you just unplug that large plug.
