Front driveshaft lengths

Are the front driveshafts meant to be the same length? One of mine is longer than the other.

Well they came off the front of the car lol, just been and measured the difference and its about 20mm, this is just the shafts im measuring, not with cv joints attatched. Im wondering if someone has fitted a xr4 shaft in the past.
