  • Standard air box fitting advise

I'm thinking of fitting a standard air box back on, as it didn't come with one on it, what do I have to swap to fit one please as I'm no Motor mechanic , and will this stop Waste gate chatter??????.

Want to put some of the engine bay back to standard you see.

Here's a pic of air intake now.

Pretty much everything from the slam panel to the strut top mark and anything below that possibly too.

Here is a picture of the standard air box fitted. As you can see it takes up the whole space. You will need a new breather system as the mirror tanks won't fit.

As others have said you will have to take off the breather tank, and you'll probably find that silicone hose is very tight as well. And you have to take the arch liner out to bolt down the box and fit the air intake. And of course the original turbo heatshield attaches to the side of the airbox too so you might have to fiddle around with that.

Isn't that chatter just because there isn't a dump valve fitted. That's what that video sounds like to me.
                    Cheers

dont forget you will need the airbox complete with snorkel, the rear bracket, the front bottom extension bracket and a panel filter,so not cheap but you will recoup the costs by selling off your old stuff no doubt
