  • Front upper bib out of shape

My front upper spoiler/bib is slightly out of shape and looks buckled where it meets the bumper, is there anything that can be done to straighten this out?
Both upper and lower parts genuine items.

I always struggled with this problem as do most escort owners , I found warming it up gently with a heat gun helped whilst pushing the ripples from side to side from the rear , I bought a fibre glass one in the end off mr barber , it looked perfect after some filling , wish I'd done it years before as it transformed the front end ,even to the point lots of people made comments on how straight it was

you don't need to remove it from the car bud infact id say its better to do it whilst its still on the car , as mark has said above see if you can slightly loosen the bolts a little then warm it from the front whilst rubbing it from the rear , I used a couple of rolled up cloths as it gets pretty warm

ben 3 1/2 hrs p155ing about with the splitter & stone deflector on yours bud ,its just the little things that make the job better

It sure does mate, and no doubt you will be popping over at National Day with your white gloves to inspect progress so far and to provide some advice
