this was more of a hobby, but i'm now wanting to try and turn it into a way of earning money instead of plodding around the country in a lorry as much, not really sure what you could charge someone who has a load of footage they don't know what to do with to turn it into something that looks half decent..............any thoughts are welcome. then if this goes anywhere get into the whole thing a bit more, I now have a top of the range camcorder which up to now I've done a couple of unofficial wedding vidoes for family members with really good results (its surprisingly hard to be a guest/a dad and a camera man at the same time) so for now, here is my latest offering to you tube, basically a load of footage taken randomly with my old camcorder and basic "action camera" arranged in a way that works really well with the chosen sound track.........

    all thoughts welcome

That looks really cool Chris like an original music video. No harm giving it a shot.

Depends what the user needs, I charge £15 to £30 an hour depending on what is required and who it's for.

now then! so you do video editing aswell as graphic design?? is there much demand for it? what sort of thing do you find yourself doing the most?

Bits and bobs, adding sound to visual, sometimes adding voiceover to a recording etc. Nothing massively high end.

I'm not sure how big the market is for specialist editing now, as many PC's and Cameras come with editing software that does the job for a hobby/home user etc.
