  • Rear Screen Seal? Still Available?

    Hello Chaps

Cossie is booked into the body shop for rear screen removal and repair small hole in the tailgate and then repaint.

I would like to fit a new rear screen seal? Are these still available?

Worse case scenario is that they break the glass....is this still available as well???

    Cheers

I bought an outer seal when I had mine done, but inner ones are.......yep, NLA. Just take your own off very carefully and use that. I had to do that myself. As for the screens...no idea, but I've got a spare

    Scouse.

can you take the screens out with out breaking the rubbers? i was looking at fitting lexan window to the hatch but didnt like the idea of braking the seal.

Don't suppose you know the part numbers and price do you?

Sounds like a simple thing but the guys in parts seem to really struggle

        cheers

Yes got the rear outer weather strip 3 weeks ago
            From ford. £43
Not cheap but you shouldnt really damage the inner one
            Just take your time

there are two types of seals. one type is if you just remove outer without taking screen out and other type is used when a screen is taken out.
