Hart Inlet Gasket

Just found the problem with the boost leak on my Escos.. The thin rubber gasket between the trumpets and the Hart inlet had been blown out and is now damaged. Looks like a couple of bolts came lose.

Please could someone tell me who supplies these thin gaskets? And can any other gaskets be used aswell?

I've just ordered the O ring gasket from Auto Specialists so hopefully that will fit.

But can a cometic gasket be fitted aswell as the O ring gasket?

I have a cometic gasket fitted to mine as when I got my inlet the rubber ring was damaged

TBH the manifolds are shit in that they have tapped blind holes (in ally) so you'll always have issues tightening them up properly

I'm going to helicoil mine so at least the bolts will stay tight

Yeah had to have all mine heli coiled.. Even from new several bolts would not tight up and stripped the thread..

I had to helicoil every hole in mine too, i had loads of trouble finding an O ring that would fit perfect but got one to fit in the end and up to now is holding out fine

Can get the O ring from us at auto specialists.

You can get o rings from any bearing suppied thats what i do and to be fair the as ones seem better than hart
