Engine update(DP Motorsport)

Hi all just a little update on the Cosworth engine cossiedave came around on Saturday & removed the engine & stripped it down to find the No 4 shells had spun & welded its self to crank shaft
So after a chat with Dave we have come up with a plan to rebuild the Engine to a higher spec
6 long studs
Mountune WRC head gasket
Mahle pistons with valve cut outs
Polish & ported head
High pressure oil pump
Regrind & balance crank
MK Motorsport alloy pulleys a full set
I will keep you updated with the build inc some pictures
SO a big thank you to cossiedave for all advice & i am looking forward to see what magic he can do

Later on Paul i will change the management & change the turbo we were going to go low compression but my car cannot be mapped so that put paid to that plan

Fair enough Paul. Change of management is quite expensive.

Keep an eye out for 2nd hand autronics or vipec Paul as they do come up good to see Dave on the case

They are always a good price. There is a update to the I series ecu £50+vat more but adds another switched input and knock control as standard.

Ah that's a shame Paul, but at least its all go from here and and you've finally found something you actually need to spend money on Good man for getting it going straight away
