I'm starting to like them, but would never pay 20k for one when you could have an e92 M3 for around that price.
I do t see why they have held there value? Thought they would be about 12k by now....

Each to their own opinion wise, im used to fords build quality and I think they made the FRS a nice place to be, mine feels solid, no rattles, nicest ford ive ever sat in, love the seats, not had any of the problems you mentioned, not for everyone I realise that, and there are a few cars about that have had no end of problems, but it seems to be just the odd badly put together car here or there.

Personally I love em, with the mountune kit its just awesome.
because there is no vat duty over here , so cars are 20 per cent cheaper . until you import them into uk . then import duty needs to be paid .

Just demand I think, its huge fun, theres not really anything about that gives you what the focus does...
          20k on an m3, yawn.....

I'm kind of the same I always wanted one.... After getting one they do drive and handle well, power wise mines pulled well having about 360bhp, but build quality is poor, my car had done nearly 40k and the drivers seat was worn... And there was rattles from loads of different areas from the interior just plasticy... Overall I'd say nice car but just not the same wow factor of the Escos

There are a few guys who have jumper from the focus to m3's and gar's then jumped back again, I'm not saying there better cars but there must be something about them, i like mine but iv never had anything to compare it too,its the RS badge that does it for me

i had a white 10 plate, 750 miles when i baught it, i loved it to drive, loved the look of it, loved the seats ect, and as said i also was carefull getting in and out over the bolster of the seat. i only sold it as i used the dosh as a deposit on a house that came up for sale i wanted .
i would have an other with no problem

                thanks steven

2010 focus rs . a bit of a let down

If the difference is anything like an e46 M/ mk1 frs then the difference/ quality is shocking!
I know they are not in the same bracket new but they are both now around the same money

awesome cars I love mine but I have to admit there not quite as special as an escos & the quality is shite ,the escort inside felt like a well made & well put together car without a doubt their holding stronger money than anybody thought they would & low mileage. low owner mint cars will stand the test of time to a degree I think (well I hope )

                              Seanyboy , love it mate

There was only the two that came into the uk with red leather and only an option to other euro countries and not here, dunno if I liked the red leather tbh
