General Question - WRC Rear wing

Just got me a WRC rear wing, i wasnt looking to go down this route but it was cheap'ish so snapped it up. i understand that i will need a standard mk5 boot hatch to get this to fit..but looking at the standard hatches they all have the rear lights/reflectors in/on them or am i not looking at the ones that i need?

the escort cos has a std mk5 hatch the only different is some notches half way up to allow the bolts for the top spoiler to fit.
that spoiler looks like its for a mk6 bootlid as its more rounded at the bottom corners

If the Escort you're looking at has the rear fogs in the hatch part then that's a MK6 Escort. MK5 Escorts don't have them there.

As above. That 2 piece spoiler is an RS accessory for the mk5b/mk6 escort, it is real heavy and has a cut out for the rear windscreen wiper.

I suppose it may be possible for a good body man to flatten then refinish the ends to make it sit right

It will fit, but it doesen`t look right at the ends

it sits ok really, its just the wiper is more in the middle on the coz than a std mk5-6 escort wich means i would need a std escort boot for the wing to fit proper because of the wiper not lining up.

Looks like the RS2000 F2 kit car spoiler, lot of people flog them as WRC ones, and they're made for the mk6 .

it has got ford stamped on it thats why i was thinking it wasnt an aftermarket?


if it is only for a mk6 then i may get a lid & get the holes for the lights filled in as it does look pretty good if as i say it was re-sprayed from pacifica to imperial.
