Anyone on here using one of these on an external gate set up ?
They come with their own boost control solenoid, and was wondering if this is any good at all, or better to run separate boost control ?

They also have built in blow off valve (dump valve) and again any good ??

Best speak with Mark Shead mate, guessing he plays with these more than most.

Yes to all above mate..... They really are a very good bolt on turbo, I ran separate boost control because I already had it separate so it would have been more work to plumb in the efr one.... But if I haven't had it wired up i'd have used the one that's on the turbo!

No should be fine! Remember mark told me to use the built in d/v too. As I think you have too, as it all works together in harmony so to speak.....

searched a while but cant find dyno printout from an 9180
my mate want to change from gtx35 (maxed out@ 840hp E85 Audi s2 5yl 2,5L)
to efr 9180.
is it a good upgrade?
