Ive got an '04 1.7 TD Vauxhall Combo van and it wont run.
It was last driven in October last year. Battery's fooked so put a new one on it and it fired up on the button but would only run for 3 seconds max.
Tried to start it and it wasn't having any of it - not even a cough.
Left it a few minutes while I checked for anything obvious under the bonnet, tried it again and it fired up.......for a few seconds then died again.
Tried to start it again and it wasn't having any of it - not even a cough.
Left it a few minutes and it fired up but again only for a few seconds.
Shut the bonnet, walked away and had a think. Could be a clogged up / damp fuel filter I was thinking
Asked a bloke at work who tinkers with wagons etc, we had a quick look and he thought it might be electrical rather than the filter as he reckons little / no fuel is getting through.
Any thoughts would be appreciated
