  • Spark plugs for small turbo

Right guys, what plugs are you running in your small turbo cars???

My car is having a wee misfire issue and I'm going to change the plugs, had the plugs out yesterday but forgot to look at what kind they were I think they are either motor craft AGPR 12PP plugs or DENSO pk20 pr- p11 3141

Are these plugs still available or is there an equivalent?. The car I more or less standard

Original plugs all day long for ST escos...just make sure they are corectly gapped...ST escos are prone to breaking down coil packs,(miss fire on boost)'so if the plugs dont work, I'd be looking there, speaking from experience.

Yep Georgie, car is standard, so what gap should they be? And do ford still stock the plugs? Where else sells them?

original plug leads from the coil packs also give issues aswell as the coilpacks themselves, they both cook in the engine.

ST plugs are proving a little hard to get. Does anyone have a set they could sell to Simbo

Have tried graham but no reply yet, iv mailed again today so hopefully he replies soon.
In the meantime do DENSO make the motorcraft plugs??? I ordered the AGPR 12PP plugs a few years back and they sent me DENSO pk20pr-p11 3141 plugs, when I asked they said those plugs were fine, which they have been until now.
I was advised that I should be using double platinum plugs but the 12PP plugs have no mention of being double platinum??..

Can someone explain for me please??

                      Confused Simbo!! Lol
