    Well..

After searching this forum and other forums about putting a GTX30 (76,..) on a YB...

I still don't know what to do with my engine..

GT3076 or GTX3076 on an AR 0.82 with twinscroll manifold..
    I'm looking for +500bhp ofcourse..

With good headporting and cams the GTX series on 1.7bar max (25psi) should be good and don't surge.. but lot's of peeps here tell a different story..

    Pro's, con's and experiences?

    CHeers!

I've got a GTX3076 with 0.82 housing on and it made 590bhp and 578 ft/lb of torque but ended changing to a 1.06 housing to stop the surge.
If you're going to buy a turbo from scratch then you really need to be looking at the BW EFR turbos, the 7670 EFR is pretty much the same size class as a GTX3076.
It's what i'll be getting soon as funds allow.

This was the engine spec when it made that power (although it has changed abit recently):

CGI 200 Twin feed Ex-WRC Block
                    10 Long Studs
                    Wet Nikasil Liners
Cosworth Racing Short Skirt Pistons 7.9:1 Compression Ratio
                    Cosworth WRC Long Rods
                    Mountune/Cosworth Crank
                    Oil Spray Jets
High Pressure and Flow Oil Pump
Wide Wing Sump with a Blue Sprint Sump Baffle
Big Ported Head 27mm Inlet 27mm Exhaust
Danny @ BlueSprint Super High lift Inlet cam
                    Standard Exhaust Cam
                    Hart Inlet Manifold
                    83lb Siemens Injectors
                    Tubular Manifold with 52mm primaries
GTX3076r Turbo with Tial .82 SS V-Band Exhaust Housing
                    100mm Airtec Intercooler

I did a 1/4 in 11.9 @ 128mph, not the easist thing to get off the line thou

There's plenty of faster Cossie than mine out there.

Mita Performance mate, i'd imagine the 83lb's probably are maxxed out.
I'm on aftermarket now and 1100cc ASNU's so we'll see what it makes later this week.
