Finally found a cosworth part without paying cossie tax

Just picked this up for the tidy sum of £15. Please don't tell me it's the wrong one lol just need to find the escort badge now and a fresh cosworth one.

It was actually advertised for £3, I phoned to say I would collect the following day but got a text later to say he had been offered a tenner so I offered £15 and collected tonight. Well chuffed, anyone got the finis codes for the escort and cosworth badges for a big turbo model. What's the difference between small turbo and big turbo cosworth badges?

the small turbo badges are the single letter chrome type.

the bt badges are plastic covered in a chrome finish and are in one piece not single.

just look at a few pics of the cars and you can easy tell the difference.

the escort badges can go for around £30, same as the cosworth badges.

On the topic of badges what ford oval does the BT escort cosworth use the dark or light blue, when cleaning out my garage the other day i found new small and large dark blue ovals

When is the switch over between the badges? Is there a date that it switched from one type to the other?
Mine has the newer type but I prefer the older type style....

It was around 1994-1995 models Terry, mine was built in late 1994, ST model but cam with BT badges

Mine is late 1995 so I am guessing it should have the newer style badging....

Must try to get a new set of these - wonder if the ESCORT lettering is hard to get new these days...??

The newr ST badges are much easier to get

Yea I think there are 2 different shades of blue, but really I couldn't give a crap, blue is blue to me.

I might have one in my glovebox
