Good in terms of its actual use. It transforms a cars throttle response.
Also good for giggles showing off, but the turbo will soon die if used agressively for too long unless it has a marham shaft designed to withstand the temperatures ALS creates.

For just pops and bangs a modded ISCV and TB will be enough, for proper anti lag you need a bigger air by pass valve like this setup on mine:

Anti lag as Jimbo says makes throttle responce excellent what takes some getting used to is that when you're braking in to a corner that car will still drive on but more than makes up for in when you get back on the loud pedal.

Rich how much was that set up for anti lag mate? Really fancy getting it but wasn't sure how they performed on the escorts. My mate got it on his evo and it's mint.

                Hi Jim

                Can my EFR handle ALS?

                Thx

For anti lag on a road car you also need a Burberry baseball, and a nice shiny Kappa tracksuit!

Do you really want your road car doing this? Certainly attract the local law, I know from testing this on the road after Harvey had built the engine.

Mines got the msd anti lag and when I had it put on I loved it for obvious reasons with the bangs and flames but 3 years down the road my idle control valve has called it a day so I won't be doing the mod on the replacement one and I can't say I'll miss it plus I don't want to destroy my turbo and in all fairness my car is un drivable when it's switched on it's only a road car for me at the end of the day I don't need it.

That's quite an old picture taken in 2007 on the Tank S rally in Holland, the location of this photo is one of the rally sponsors filling stations, the stage included driving through the petrol station!! I have not had a car that has been on fire? sold this yellow car about 4 years ago.
                            This is current car
