  • Mountain bike advise please

    Evening guys,

Thinking about getting back into mountain biking and am looking for a new bike.
My budget is up to £1500 so would of thought I could get something half decent for that sort of money.
I'm really out of touch now of what's a good make and value for money etc.
was thinking about full suspension as I like Forrest riding but I also will be doing lots of road riding.

    Any thoughts/advise guys???

When you have sussed the type of bike you want is it worth trying the likes of eBay for a 2nd hand bike as there are some right deals for bikes people have only used a few times just got myself a 920g full carbon Planet X road bike for a steal

eBay as other people have said. So many people get bikes on the cycle to work schemes then don't use them

I'd be looking at orange pro 5
Lappierre zesty 314 might get a 514 if your lucky.
I've had all of them and the zesty is by far the best all round mountain bike
