LCD clock

The LCD in my clock has been on the way out for a while now, and is now unreadable. Can this be repaired? If so what cost am I looking at? Thanks.

It can be repaired if you can find a standard MK5 escort clock to rob the screen out of that hasn't done the same. If you can find one its an easy job that you could probably do yourself.

you can buy repair kits, you just replace the lcd bit.

I've just repaired mine and it works a treat....keep chasing the breakers you'll find a clock eventually.
I'd like to know about the repair kits though if anyone hss info on these
