  • Brake Bells - Powder Coat or Anodise?

    Hi guys,

the bells in my APs are getting a bit scabby and I'd like to give them a freshen up. I was thinking of either powdercoating them or getting them anodised - what one would give the best finish in terms of durability?

    Cheers,

    Rich

I would anodise them mate prob better to let the heat out as well , peterbourough plating does it and a good turnaround time

The inner wheel face sits against the bell face so powder coat is not a good idea as it will be thick and not flat,

Get them anodised but if you have a friend with a lathe take the tiniest amount off the outter face before anodising as it will give them a like new finish

That's the plan - gold anodised

I'll get them sent down to Peterborough plating once it's off the road for the winter.
