  • who on here has a rear wheel drive escos?

i want to leave my 4x4 sump still fited as it will save loads of cash and also be alot quicker to convert back to 4x4 to sell, just wondering if anyone else has left the 4x4 sump fitted? also did it cause any problems?

    cheers

I am in process of doing this and you need a 2wd sump so i am told due to the starter being different and the 2wd 1 would hit the 4x sump.

Don't mess around changing the sump to 2wd, just trim the nearside driveshaft rear support web to allow the 2wd starter to fit, far less hassle and you can pick a 4x4 sump up for peanuts should you ever want to put it back to 4x4

As will said just trim the 4x4 one for the starter clearance if you want to do it easily...
