  • had a run out in the 100E today

with the escort not taxed we decided this afternoon to have a run out out in the 100E with my wife and son, ended up going up to the lion in at blakey ridge in the heart of the north yorkshire moors for tea http://www.lionblakey.co.uk/ can't recommend the place enough.

took some pics at various points on the route, the car was faultless if a little noisy, deffo need to get a 3.54 diff in there asap,

the wheels are like marmite some like them some hate them, they have been on the car since it was finished in 2000, it will take lots of work to the front suspension to get any other wheels to fit, I am only running 175 tyres on the front and they still catch occasionally!
I am planning on doing the work next winter..

you you would think so nick, but the steel back in the day was far thicker than today and it is probably heavier than you think, also I put lots of soundproofing in before the carpets which adds to it, I will get it weighed this year as I have wanting to know for a while..
