Who is running Wasted Spark with their Rev Counter reading half??

Who is running Wasted Spark and their Rev Counter reads half of what it should do?

Im trying to see how many people are in this situation.

Im thinking of building a device that goes inline with your RPM feed and corrects your Rev Counter. Would anyone be interested in something like this?

Don't want to tread on anyones toes here.
Has everyone tried the wiring mod on the back of the cluster
and bridging the 2 x green wires under the bonnet?
Mine had issues when i biught it but these mods sorted it.
Just an idea.

Its only an idea at the moment to see how many people are running their cars with incorrect RPM. The mod you suggest does sound like its fooling the Clocks and doesnt sound that safe but i may be wrong. Would be interested to hear a bit more about this mod.

It's the mods Motorsport Developments advise to carry
out in the fitting instructions supplied with their wasted
spark kit's.
Not saying it works on all clocks but did on mine.

If it's only reading half the revs then it's because you only have one amp feed running the rev counter, you need to add the second amp feed with a diode loom. Running wasted spark on mine with the two amp feeds and diode loom I made and it works fine.
