        you'll get away with a standard/freshly built box for up to 300/320bhp. above that you should be thinking of an basic uprated gearkit. (look on mike r's or reylands websites for prices)

        also a steel or alloy strengthening plate for the front diff casing.

        best thing to do is to phone bara and ask for advise 01527 880011

          Yup agree with that George, you don't really need a bara for 300ish BHP mate, overkill unless you plan on going 350/400+ in the future? Then of course it's a good investment and future proofing!

            but dont forget straight cut gearkits are noisy and takes away some of the refinement of the car.

                            bara would offer the same kind of kit but dont know his prices.
                            big advantage with bara is that all the parts in his kits are easily available when you need a freshen up or break something.
                            with the power your aiming for, it will be a fit and forget item.
