Just wondering what my car is worth because I could be selling it soon.
It's a 2005 05 plate Mondeo ST TDCI in performance blue, I'm the second owner, and have had it since it was less than 3 years old. It's got masses of history with it and every mot, it's full spec with xenons and parking sensors, it's got the six disk Sony head unit, half leather, the only wear is on the drivers seat where my fat harris has been on it. The passenger and back seats are basically like new, in fact I think it's only had someone in the back twice all the time I've had it, it's always been my commuting car.
The only real marks on it are two or three 'trolley' dinks in the drivers door where some git in my works car park has dinked it. I tend to park in places where there's lot of spaces to try and avoid it but there's always some careless person about.
It has done 146,000 miles, which is still rising, because all it really does is motorway miles. It really does drive as straight as they come and you'll get a good 50mpg on a run.
The only thing I'd say is the wheels could do with a refurb, although all the tyres are good, and it does puff a bit of smoke when you start it up from cold, but this soon clears and it drives absolutely spot on on the road. If it ever needs work it gets it because it has to be reliable with the miles I do.
I bought it with 17k miles on the clock and as I say now it has 146k, so I can basically tell you absolutely anything about it. I think I've even got the original bill of sale for over £24k in the history.
Anyway, I'd be interested in what people think as a value, I know it's high miles (although no more than a lot of others) but it's only 1 previous owner with loads of history, it's hpi clear (apart from it'll show my private plate on it, which will be coming off) and it's been looked after.
