Engine bay bland

Guys,

Views please, i have a ST Ash black Escos, now its totally standard at the moment but looking at the bay it look well lets be honest boring, so i was thinking red boost hooses and rocker painted/powdercoated red, i think it will look good and lively it up a little.

I may plan on selling but im not 100% sure, do you think doing this will de value it a little as at the moment it is 100% original?

Also views on the colour change

I'm about to go the other way, I have a near standard car with just some hoses and stainless bits fitted along with a custom painted rocker cover. I have all the standard parts, so over the winter i'm putting it back standard I think.

Another thing is my ST isnt a garage queen and is just over 100k so wont warrant silly money but saying that its great for the miles and age, id just like to make it look better.

if your thinking about selling it Rob then imo its a waste of time spending anything on it if its not needed,especially when its looking factory.

This is what I've done under the bonnet. Quite subtle but looks nice I think. Hoses were a bit dusty when I took this. Might give you some ideas anyway.
