CD2040 Service or Repair

Hello All

Does anyone have any contacts or can service or repair the original CD Player CD2040. These are getting hard to find in a working state.
Others like me try to keep the inside all original and don't want to change the rado/CD setup.

It would be nice to get the CD Players serviced or repaired.

Can anyone help with this.

I know someone who had an oldish Jaguar system repaired by these:

website is rubbish, but may be worth a call. Think they are only in Birmingham too, so not too far from you. There is also a place in Warrington that does it too, but I can't find them online.

My 2040 needs fixing as well when you turn the car off and back on again the cd player tries to load and unload in a loop and the buttons don't respond at all

Called both http://www.dndservices.co.uk/ and http://www.fixmyradio.co.uk/ and they have both said they can't fix these CD Players because they don't have the test gear any longer.

There has got to be someone out there with the old kit in the back of thier workshop.

I would be great to have a contact who could help us all out.
