Power Steering Pump

Well I have now gone through 3 second hand Power Steering pumps.

I finally found a brand new one just before Christmas. It is listed for the Sierra but looked right. So I bought one. I was well happy when it arrived as it was exactly the same.

So today I fitted it. Well it works a dream. I have put the shortcut below plus a picture.

What was you pump doing when it failed ie..totally failed or jumpy? Very strange the other 2 are buggered

Pump was whinning very loudly when cold. Went quite for a while then started again. steering got heavy as well.
