Sounds like you have a right one next door to you. If its your boundary fence then they have to allow disturbance for maintenance.

Good luck with it, she sounds like a right busy body with nothing better to do.

providing its your fence then you shouldn't have a problem and as long as you try not to disturb her land much I doubt she has a leg to stand on, and let her waste her money.

What did the council say about the roof, and how far from the boundary fence's is it?

send her a letter advising that she has 7 days to temporarily remove her flowers for fear of damge that may be caused by the boundry fence renewal, if she doesn't move them then she can't say she hasn't been informed.

then send another letter detailing in depth how much of an old cunt she is

Well my garage is 3,7 metres high 32/19 foot, and its right next to her fence, she had only just moved in.

he said its within regs , just to close to her fence, he said may have to flat roof it.
but im awaiting a call back from him

If its right next to her fence and not 2 metres away then you will most likely have to apply for retrospective planning permission, if you wish to keep it the way it is.
There is still a chance that this can be given without any alterations made to the building.

The council should issue you will a letter detailing where you have fallen foul of the rules and will give you 28 days I think to make a substantive steps into correcting it whether that be to change the roof or to apply for planning permission.
