CD PLAYER

I have a radio/cassette and under that is my CD player all genuine ford, now I've never had the CD player in and it's not working, I've put code in and when I put a cd in it just goes blank and don't play,then ejects cd, and NO it's not spice girls cd.
Any advise appreciated

Am just guessing but from past experience it chucks the cd out because the laser pick up is broken so spits out the cd to prevent any damage.

Does it try to spin the disc at all or just chucks it out immediately?

had the same thing with my cd , i sent it off for repairs but they said the lazer had gone and could not be repaired , took me 6 months to find another , love to know if anyone could repair these

try a disc cleaner 1st a good quality one though not one from poundland
