Buying a car from Dublin

Hi chaps. Just after some real life advice.

Looking at a car from Dublin. Originally from the UK. Been in Ireland 6 years.

Mid it relatively simple to register it back in the UK ?

I sold an irish regestered tuscan that was prev: a uk car to a fello from Dorset he had no problem just registration fee,it makes it easy if it came from uk orig: as speedo in miles and the dvla have the cars history.

A lad bought my van years ago registered new in Ireland took it over and was a nightmare to register he ended up selling it back to southern Ire and bought one in UK, also know of another guy that went to change his car over in UK and was a handling.. Not sure what exactly is involved though but if car was originally registered in UK its very simple.

Mark was the cars you took over registered in UK first or southern Ireland?
