They have gone up in value since i sold mine!! Was 440bhp with all the goodies, had 20" BBS CH-R which cost me 3.5K and had only done 14'000 miles, sold for 21K about 2 years ago.

Rs direct are responsible for keeping prices high, they dominated the market from the start and were able to dictate the prices

You are right about RS Direct keeping prices up, but how many do they sell as the same cars are on pistonheads all the time and dont seem to move.

Prices advertised seem to be in the region of 20 - 22k for higher mileage ones, that being 20k - 40k miles, but on pistonheads there seems to be plenty to choose from, good low mileage ones will always command better money but are the others actually selling?

Doubt they'll drop as low as the MK1 Focus RS, but if they drop to around 14-15k that would be great.

14-15 wouldn't be bad, if I was after one at current prices i would rather spend that money on a v8 m3, a lot more car for the money IMO.
                          Everyone is different though

I think 14/15 is some time away unless neglected higher miles . However think they will drop .... When and to what extent is anyone's guess but I'd imagine you'll see a lot more on and cheaper prices closer to mk3 hitting showrooms . Low miles immaculate cars will imo not move much in price

They startet with 20.000€ and some customer think when they put a LPG system on it the think they can say a higher price
