  • Rear Beam Bushes

Am re bushing the back end of my Escort and was thinking of using the Graham Goode trailing arm bushes but not sure what to use for the main beam to body bushes so would appreciate your thoughts.

It'll only ever be a nice fast road car btw

Do you get any more road noise through alloy ones?

Shouldnt use nylon bushes on trailing arms imo. They allow more movement than the standard ford bush.

Only replace these bushes with genuine items or cut them off and have a rose joint.

New std bush is far better. In fact before you fit any thing else, leave the handbrake up and move the car backwards. Watch the rear wheels through the window and you will see how much they move.
Now compare with any other bush.
