  • Pass the Parcel cars.....

Can't help to notice many very nice / almost perfect Escort Coswosth's change owners quite often on here.

Is this something unique to this forum?

I call them "Pass the Parcel" cars, because they change hands so often.

Typically the new owner will spend a LOT of time & money on the car, so that their "new" Es Cos is closer to perfection than before...........then a few months later sell it.

Just makes no sense to me.

Especially as a few months later they lust after and then buy another one.

There are also a lot of "pass the parcel" projects cars too, these I can understand as the commitment / time required to complete a "project" is often under estimated.

I agree, think the perfection bug has hit with our cars as there value goes up, so much so as we dont wanna use them and then cant justify having all that money tied up so we sell.
If that makes any sense at all?

I agree Doug, I just don't get it. However my mindset is to use the thing for what is was intended for and that's driving, however I must admit mine doesn't come out half as much as it used to/should, but to me it's what I always wanted and I'd never sell it for something else

think I have a 'pass the parcel car' though Karl spent more on the car than I bought it for.

I was happy to have it.

          Dave.
