Can anyone help I've been offerd a 4x4 gearbox chap says its an r&d gearbox but that's all he knows about it would there be any sort of tag or stamp on it to identify it?

some use a std ford casing some are built into and R and D casing, take out the reverse gear switch and have a look inside to see the gears aswell

It looks like a standard casing so the gears should look alot bigger ?Comment

Should have its own alloy gear knob with RTD engraved on the top......mine did anyway 😊Comment
