  • Which Shows

Well after dragging my arse out of bed at daft o'clock yesterday morning and travelling for 3 hours or so I got to Centra Day and I've got to say, it just didn't really do it for me

Sooooo, what are everyone's must see shows

I'm thinking Cumbria RSOC, Possibly Ford Fair and possibly National Day.

Think I also wouldn't mind a hint of VW too if it had a few Fords there

Ford Fair is always a good day out with a good variety of cars. Can't make National Day but I do have a need for something different to the shows... but just can't quite think what to do, quite like the idea of supporting the motorsport guys on the forum if we can get dates in good time as I don't half get booked up quick

cumbria is a must do darren but is very much weather dependant. when it rains it pisses down but is a great show as it gives the older stuff priority whilst still being well supported by the newer stuiff.

croft is another great show and offers everything you could want from a show.

ford fair is pretty unique and is almost too much to see in one day.

classic ford is a great show too

Ford fair is a must, will try Castle Combe this year and going to try and get to simply fold,

Ben we should get to some race meetings I'm up for that and touring cars ? Or maybe a drive to the seaside every one love the sea, or a driving weekend over the black mountains I'm sure there is people on here from that could show us se good roads

I always enjoy Croft and national day because it's not too far away but the best show I enjoyed last year was the classic car show at harewood house, there was so many different cars to look at it made a change

Depends if you just wanna stick to the ford stuff, if not, silverstone classic, classic ford, Goodwood, alot of pistonheads Sunday service, or breakfast meets are good fun also, ford fairs ok, not what it was... classic Motor show at NEC, simply ford at Beaulieu, rally day at castle coombe, that's my top shows list.

UK shows are fun, but much of old same thing. Good to get out onto the continent to sample other shows, like EFE in Holland and maybe have a look at continental car tours for some trips. It's all about the drive in awesome surrounding views with a good social gathering.

i went to central day & it wasnt very good im sad to say,... £30 entry & £20 on diesel just to walk around for a couple of hours & go back home, there didnt seem many cars on show & there wasnt much on for the kids to do either! .. even if the sun was out i dont think i would of stayed any longer, i hope the next show i go to is alot better...
