    Right guys whats the best shocks to have on a escort cos for the road but bear in mind my car is over 600bhp

    standard will do.

    if getting used on track ect... then you can go for the better ones out there.

                  You should be able to get them re specced to make them softer if to hard.

                    Dont go too soft though as the car can become unstable with the changes in acceleration with this sort of power. I have been there and nearly lost control in a big way on a drain cover

                    Im currently running GAZ coilovers which are fine for the road.
