  • tuning compared to other cars!

just looking at a few posts on forums and prices from tuners how much it costs to tune a YB Cosworth engine! Seams pricey compared to tuning other engines to the same power figures! Is it because its a older engine to tune or just because its the classic ford thing

Take a look at power per lt, It would be much easier to get a Cossie to 500hp if it had to more cyl and 600cc more and two turbos.

Rebiuld on what car, Most is about 6 weeks but depends on what car,
A Evo about 400hp is pushing the rods where I have seen 468hp on on a YB but thats pushing the head gasket.
Cost wise for a Evo and YB tends to come out close due to diff bits being needed.

Would love to charge 6 weeks this is about 7 to 10days work in them but the rest is the machining time and working times out.
