  • Think my name went down by accident? : )

    • I would need 5 wheels as the boot would not look right with a space saver spare.

      • Of the 39 names, it would be interesting to see what wheels will be made redundant as a result of these?

        I'm guessing mostly Ronnies

        • My ronnies won't be going anywhere

          Not many unrefurbed sets about

          • RSCosworthman,

I have done the measuring I offered to do.

Started another thread for the 18x9 details to avoid polluting this one too much.

            http://www.escortrscosworth.com/foru...ad.php?t=45587

Basically 18x9 ET25 works for me and would be my preferred choice.

ET20 will work on OEM geometry.
            Cheers
            John

I think 5 is a good idea if it's an option

                • Gotta be worth getting more made than actually needed as there will always be someone wanting a replacement for a damaged one or new owners may want a set later on.........that's assuming you have somewhere to store a few wheels of course

If there good you'll never be stuck with them if you want rid anytime Plus will always be buyers who don't use the forum.......they will know about them eventually as word gets around....

Hi John, once again thanks for your outstanding measurement work as you explained in detail in the other post. By now I've read (and hopefully understood) everything you did.

Given the quote above and the stuff I read in the other post I just want to be 100% sure: 18x9 ET25 will also work on OEM geometry right?

Or does this also require the small

Then my preference would also be to go for 18x9 ET25.

If we decide on this as a group that we all want this, I can finalize the design over the coming week.

p.s. list below updated - just let me know if anyone wants a set of 5

There is a reason why 99% of people running 9x18" have ET20, its simply because it fits best. ET25 will sit further in, causing a lot more trouble in the spring cup area. Look at my post in between all the measurements in the other thread... If you get them made in ET25 I'm pretty sure most would need a 5mm spacer at the front in addition to modifying spring cup (unless using coilovers).
