  • Cosworth rear crankshaft oil seals....whats the difference?

    Hi

I think i have a leak from my rear crankshaft oil seal on my engine but not confirmed yet, was new when built but then sat around for 2 and a half years before engine has been run since dyno

Anyway i have ordered 1 from piero @ xpower engine works seen here

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/COSWORTH-R...item2a4a8467e5

But i have since seen these genuine ford items

    http://www.racetuners.com/shop/index...roducts_id=267

Now the ford 1 looks quite different ? a lot deeper, possible twin lipped?

Anybody know about these and recommend whats best if i do need to change it

    Thanks
    Marc

Well pulled the gearbox and it's not the crank seal leaking anyway it was oil that had ran back from my badly leaking half moon seals that are now fixed
