        ok heres my issue

bought the car with starter motor failure
fitted new starter car started but wouldnt rev
pluged bosch scanner in to read ecu but no comms
as i was sat in the car with engine running all the lights on the dash came on everything as if id just turned the ign on with out engine running so everythin on
so turned it off to see if it did it again when i restarted but
nothing engine immobiliser kicked in so immob light flashing no crank

no feed to injectors or nothing
        and cant communicate with ecu
cant even re program a key with my key ptogrammer no comms with that either

        checked all fuses and earths

but seems like ecu and immobiliser not getting powered up

Get the PCM tested, what went wrong with old starter? With ign off check pins 6 and 14 on the 16pin connector you should get 60ohms and with ignition on 2.5 volts on both of those lines.

Power train control module (ecu) connector is numbered top left is1 count across to six and 14 is directly below it

No, than you have no CAN, maybe its a broken wire or one of the ECU failt. Maybe you can look if you found the can tree of the ecu and look ift one of the others from the ring work. ore ift only one dosnt asnwer. than you must look for the wireing and look ift you have 30/15 and 31 in all places.

If all the modules are responding you should see 60ohms (ign off) if a module is down you will see 120ohms but if you have a quick look at the wiring loom and don't see anything then whip out the PCM and send it to ecu testing.com they will test it same day, but with no comms in your diagnostic machine it's usually the PCM or it's not powered up

one thing i did check is power to the injectors and i know there is no 12v at the injectors as they were the only solonoid i could get to

could the main relay be goosed

Doubtful the ecu needs to be powered up to send and receive signals (switching earths etc)
