That was for sale a few months back ... leather looks as if it's seen a few more miles than the clock shows

I viewed this car a few months back

It is a Nice car with ok history think it's a 3 owner car with every mot

I would have bought the car, but the wings have had paint, and you can tell as they are a slightly different shade
The under bonnet liner is torn, and there are 2 small areas where the sill on driver and passenger sides have gone soft with corrosion, needed underbody Resto
And the heatsheild is Slightly worn

I did make him an offer for the car, as the issues are slight but he didn't accept

Still a very low mileage car with bags of potential
and the leather smells like new

The way the prices are going, it was a cheap car a few months back at 30k

viewed this car with a mate who was interested in it when it was on ebay for 30k about 3/4 months ago, not as good as it sounds and we did a 10 hour round trip with a trailer to view it and 30k in cash as well, all the underside suspension, brakes, hubs etc were covered in rust from presumably sitting in a damp garage, had'nt had service or even cambelt change for several years, hardly any paperwork, both wings had badly matching paint, some flaky areas undersidemade, made an offer of 25k which was fair and what it's worth, but turned it down, could be a nice car, but not worth any more than 25/26k imo, certainly not "mint"

I had a good chat with the old fella before deciding to travel 5 hours, he assured me it was mint throughout, so i took him at his word, when we got there we had a suspicion that his son who was hovering about had something to do with the car as well, caught him ear wigging round the corner, all a bit cloak and dagger

In a slight defence I would say I swapped my cloth for leather, my car has done 36k miles but the leather probably looks a touch older, although I might give it a refresh at some point. But if you're asking mega money it should be spot on.
