  • Fitting a 2wd manifold

    Hi can anyone let me know if a 2wd manifold fit straight on my k plate big turbo escos

    yes, but you will need to sort out a turbo damper/ support to attach to the head, various companies make them

      yes it will fit however you will have to turn both ends of the turbo and re align the outlets so the hoses can be in the right place.

      better fitting a turbo hanger too.

      I also made my down pipe 2" longer as the 2wd manifold sits higher up and the down pipe may rub on the prop or roll bar.

      may need another heat shield too as its awkward to fit the standard type of heat shield.

          yes as dave says the down pipe needs extending slightly
          I presumed you knew about spinging the turbo core

            Is it worth doing if im going to be running under 400bhp? Sounds like more work than i expected 😩

              Add to this one that, if you have an actuator and rotate both ends, you will need a bracket to fit the actuator into his new position
